Introduction
Working for our long-standing client and fellow TSA member, Formby Surveys, we were instructed to undertake full utility mapping surveys at the Liverpool FC Training Academy in Kirkby, Liverpool. Whether you’re a red, a blue, or a football fan of any team, working on a site like this can be very interesting. The purpose of the survey was to assist the planned improvements of the Academy facilities, in preparation of the first teams move from Melwood.
The Survey
Surveys such as this can be very challenging with restricted access to certain areas. Our survey team liaised with the site team to formulate a plan of works, reassuring them of our professional conduct, and providing our client with the confidence that their high-profile project was in good hands.
The Results
Full and accurate results with any utility survey is very important. We understand that the survey information we provide may be used for any number of different reasons, from redevelopment of a site to excavation. All of which require our findings to be comprehensive and accurate.
