PAS128 Utility Survey to assist with implementing traffic calming measures

Amethyst Surveys were pleased to undertake this comprehensive PAS128 Utility Survey for one of our valued customers. This site was located on Marshgate Lane which is one of the outer access roads for the London Stadium and the survey was required to help plan the installation of a series of new traffic calming measures prior to the football season commencing.

The Survey: The utility survey team were tasked with identifying all utilities within the specified areas as efficiently as possible due to our client’s predetermined deadline. Our underground utility survey team worked swiftly, efficiently, and safely to ensure the client’s deadlines were met.

Utilizing the latest technologies, our surveyors accurately fulfilled the client’s requirements. The techniques and tools at their disposal included advanced electromagnetic locating (EML) technology and state-of-the-art ground penetrating radar (GPR) equipment. Additionally, the client specifically requested that our survey team mark the ground with permanent spray paint to assist in determining the best location for new traffic-calming measures.

Upon completing the PAS128 survey, the team walked through the areas with the site contact to explain their findings before returning to the Rugby office to digitize the survey results.

The Results: The PAS 128 utility survey was delivered accurately, efficiently and safely whilst meeting the agreed timeframe & budget.
